Check before visiting
One of the Iron Monkeys’ forged-steel Tree Spires, made for Burning Man in 2007, was installed in Rainier Vista in 2008, its bench panels adapted to carry a story written with local students. Its present condition and public approach are unclear.
The work
The story relates to a separate nearby whirligig.
Before you go
The tree stands in a residential park; keep the space available to residents.
